Security experts are sounding the alarm: North Korean IT workers are seeking jobs in Web3 and crypto companies to stage large-scale exploits.

Hiring them could expose wallets, sensitive data, and infrastructure, as seen in Coinbase’s May breach, which may have cost up to $400M.

Experts urge firms to adopt dual wallet control, audit trails, and strict identity verification.

Yehor Rudytsia, Hacken’s head of forensics, stressed: “Keep verifying, keep monitoring, and don’t rely on trust alone.”
