Andrew Tulloch, co-founder of AI startup Thinking Machines Lab, is leaving the company to join Meta. Tulloch, who previously worked at OpenAI and Facebook’s AI Research Group, confirmed his departure to employees on Friday.

Meta had reportedly offered a compensation package worth up to $1.5 billion over six years to lure him, though a Meta spokesperson called that claim “inaccurate and ridiculous.”
