Tokenization platform Securitize, best known for powering BlackRock’s tokenized U.S. Treasury fund, is reportedly in talks to go public via a SPAC merger with Cantor Equity Partners II Inc., a blank-check firm backed by Cantor Fitzgerald.
The deal could value Securitize at over $1 billion, Bloomberg reports. If successful, the move would make Securitize one of the most prominent tokenization firms to hit public markets.
