Epic Games has filed a lawsuit against two Michigan-based creators, Idris Nahdi and Ayob Nasser, for allegedly using bot accounts to inflate engagement on their Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) islands.Epic says the pair received “tens of thousands of dollars in unearned payments,” diverting funds meant for legitimate creators.
The company is seeking damages and an injunction to halt their actions, reinforcing its crackdown on fraud and manipulation in Fortnite’s creator economy.
