Unity Engine Security Alert

Game developers using Unity were warned to act immediately after a major security vulnerability was disclosed by Unity’s Larry Hryb on Oct. 3, 2025.

The flaw affects Unity Engine versions 2017.1 and later on Android, Windows, Linux, and macOS, potentially allowing third parties to compromise crypto wallets through malicious code in mobile games.

Unity has released updates and a binary patcher to fix affected applications and is working with platform partners to protect users.
