Bitget COO: “Altseason” Is Over for Good

Vugar Usi Zade, COO of major exchange Bitget, says the days of broad “altcoin seasons” are likely over. Speaking at Token2049 Singapore, he argued that altcoins no longer rally simply because Bitcoin does:

“The whole idea that everything will go up because it’s altseason — we won’t see that, and I’m very firm on that.”

He said there have been no big new tech breakthroughs to justify a large-scale altcoin rally. Instead, traders now focus on narrower narratives or just Bitcoin itself.
