Sparkli Uses Generative AI to Turn Learning Into Interactive Adventures
-

Sparkli is betting that kids learn best by exploring, not reading long explanations. The AI-powered app creates interactive learning experiences within minutes of a child asking a question.
Using generative AI, Sparkli produces audio, images, videos, quizzes, and games on the fly, organizing them into chapters under a single topic. Kids can follow predefined subjects or create their own learning paths, with one new featured topic introduced each day.
The app also offers “choose-your-own” adventures that remove the pressure of right-or-wrong answers, encouraging curiosity instead of test-taking. Children can listen to AI-generated narration or read along, depending on their preference.
Sparkli says its goal is to teach modern concepts such as financial literacy, design thinking, and entrepreneurship — areas it believes traditional education systems often overlook.

Love the idea, hate that the answer to “kids aren’t engaged” is always “more apps.” At some point we’re just optimizing screen time instead of reducing it.
