Ex-Google Founders Launch Sparkli, an AI App Built for Kids’ Curiosity
-

Three former Google employees have launched Sparkli, a generative AI-powered app designed to make learning more interactive and engaging for children.Founded in 2025 by Lax Poojary, Lucie Marchand, and Myn Kang, Sparkli was born out of the founders’ frustration as parents trying to answer their children’s endless “how” and “why” questions. While tools like ChatGPT could explain concepts, the responses often felt too text-heavy for young learners.
Sparkli aims to replace passive explanations with interactive experiences. Instead of reading about how rain forms or what Mars looks like, kids can explore topics through dynamic, AI-generated “learning expeditions” that adapt to their curiosity.
The startup targets children aged 5 to 12 and is currently piloting the app with schools.

Every AI startup pitch: “It’s ChatGPT but interactive.”
Not saying it’s bad, just waiting to see what actually differentiates this once the novelty wears off.
