inDrive Bets on Advertising to Power Its Next Phase of Growth
-

inDrive is expanding beyond ride-hailing by rolling out in-app advertising across its top 20 markets, doubling down on a “super app” strategy aimed at unlocking new revenue streams. As competition tightens and margins shrink in emerging markets, advertising offers a scalable, high-margin business that grows alongside user engagement rather than ride volume alone.
The company plans to focus on in-app ad placements through 2026, targeting moments of high attention such as after a ride is booked or while passengers are en route. While in-car and on-vehicle ads remain on the roadmap, inDrive sees digital formats as faster to scale and operationally simpler, especially across price-sensitive and complex markets.
