At CES, AMD unveiled its new Ryzen AI 400 Series processors, signaling a major push toward AI-first personal computers. Announced at CES, the chips are designed to deliver significantly faster multitasking and content creation performance, positioning AI as a core feature rather than an add-on.
AMD says the new processors outperform competitors by up to 1.3x in multitasking and 1.7x in content creation, thanks to 12 CPU cores and 24 threads. The launch builds on the Ryzen AI 300 Series introduced in 2024 and reflects AMD’s long-term belief that AI will fundamentally reshape how people interact with everyday devices.
