-

BlackRock — the world’s largest asset manager with $13.5 trillion AUM as of Tuesday’s earnings report — already manages $104 billion in crypto assets, roughly 1% of its total portfolio.
The firm has also launched the largest tokenized cash market fund to date: the BlackRock USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL), worth $2.8 billion, introduced in March 2024.
During the earnings call, Fink confirmed that BlackRock is scaling up tokenization efforts, with teams across the company exploring new products in this sector.
