Anduril Launches EagleEye for AI-Augmented Soldiers
-

Anduril Industries unveiled EagleEye, a mixed-reality system for soldiers, building on its Lattice software platform.
Modular setup includes helmet, visor, and glasses, integrating live video feeds, sensors, and AI alerts.
Supports real-time teammate tracking and threat detection.
Developed after the U.S. Army transitioned away from Microsoft’s $22B IVAS program.
Co-founder Palmer Luckey—founder of Oculus—reunites with Meta to develop XR devices for military applications. EagleEye is part of the Army’s Soldier Borne Mission Command effort, with a $159M award to prototype systems for “superhuman perception and decision-making capabilities.”
Luckey calls the launch a milestone: “The world is ready, and so is Anduril.”
