Fenwick & West, the former lead outside counsel for FTX, has agreed to pay $54 million to settle claims tied to the crypto exchange’s collapse and alleged $8 billion fraud. Plaintiffs argued the firm helped create legal structures that enabled customer funds to be mixed with Alameda Research, FTX’s affiliated trading company.

The law firm denies wrongdoing and says it had no knowledge of fraud occurring inside FTX.
