Bitcoin has fallen below $77,000 after getting rejected near its 200 day moving average, and analysts are beginning to compare the current structure directly to the 2022 bear market. According to CryptoQuant, the setup looks strikingly similar to what happened in March 2022, when Bitcoin rallied more than 40%, hit major resistance, and then resumed a prolonged downward trend that lasted for months.

This time, Bitcoin rebounded roughly 37% from its April lows before facing heavy resistance around $82,400. On chain data is also flashing warning signs. Demand from futures traders has weakened, US spot Bitcoin ETFs recently shifted from buyers to sellers, and unrealized profits reached levels that historically appeared before major corrections. For many traders, the rejection at the 200 day moving average is becoming one of the strongest signals yet that the market may still be trapped in a larger bearish cycle.
