The most straightforward risk is one that an ETF wrapper does nothing to remove: HYPE price volatility. If HYPE falls, BHYP and THYP are expected to fall with it, and there is no fund structure that insulates you from the underlying token's price swings. Beyond that, both BHYP and THYP are structured outside the Investment Company Act of 1940, which means investors do not benefit from the same regulatory protections, such as an independent board of directors, that apply to registered mutual funds and traditional ETFs. Both issuers disclose this clearly, but it is an important distinction for investors accustomed to the protections that come with standard fund structures.

ETF shares can also trade at prices that differ from the fund's actual net asset value, meaning you could pay more or less for a share than the HYPE the fund holds is actually worth at that moment. For TXXH specifically, the risks go further. The 2x daily leverage structure means its performance can diverge dramatically from simply doubling HYPE's return over any multi-day period, and the product is explicitly not designed for passive long-term holding. Finally, all three products carry regulatory risk, since any adverse regulatory action affecting crypto exchange-traded products could impact how these funds operate or whether they can continue trading at all.
