Blizzard has announced that World of Warcraft subscription costs will increase in the United Kingdom, Kazakhstan, Georgia, and Turkey starting June 22, 2026, citing global market conditions and currency fluctuations. In the UK, the monthly price rises from £9.99 to £10.99, while Georgian and Kazakhstani players will see similar percentage increases across all subscription tiers. Brazil is also affected, with reports indicating the monthly price climbing from R$39.90 to R$54.90.

Turkey faces the steepest change. Beyond a simple price hike, Blizzard is switching from Turkish lira to euros for Battle.net transactions in the country, pushing the monthly cost from approximately $7.78 to $15.17 — nearly double. When compared to 2023 prices of 149 TRY, Turkish players will effectively be paying around five times more once the change takes effect.

For context, WoW's US subscription price of $14.99 per month has remained unchanged for over 20 years, making these regional adjustments a stark contrast for international players.
