World’s system uses a device called the Orb, which scans your iris to create a unique, anonymous digital identity known as a World ID. This ID doesn’t reveal personal data but confirms you’re human. Now, Tinder users who verify through World will display a badge on their profile, helping others trust they’re interacting with a real person — not an AI or scammer.

As AI-generated content explodes, this “proof of human” layer could become essential infrastructure across the internet. From dating to social media, platforms may soon need verification systems like World’s just to maintain trust between users.
