According to Nikita Bier, payouts for aggregator-style accounts have already been reduced to 60%, with an additional 20% cut coming next cycle. The platform is also penalizing users who overuse phrases like “BREAKING” to artificially boost engagement.

Bier emphasized that while speech and reach won’t be limited, the platform will no longer financially reward content that manipulates users or floods timelines. The move signals a broader shift toward prioritizing original creators over high-volume repost accounts that dominate feeds with repetitive or low-value content.
