A new email app is trying to rethink how we manage inboxes—and it looks a lot like swiping on Tinder.

Avec introduces a card-based interface where users swipe left to deal with emails later and right to archive them, turning inbox management into a faster, more intuitive experience.

But the real twist is AI-powered voice replies. Instead of typing, users can hold a button, speak their response, and get a ready-to-send draft—complete with context-aware edits based on tone and writing style.

Founded by Jonathan Unikowski (formerly of Replit), the app is built around a simple idea:
email hasn’t fundamentally changed in decades—and it’s overdue for reinvention.

With $8.4M in funding and support from investors like Lightspeed Venture Partners, Avec is betting that combining smart design with AI can finally make inbox zero feel achievable again.
