Solana Foundation has introduced a new security framework called STRIDE (Solana Trust, Resilience and Infrastructure for DeFi Enterprises) to improve the safety of protocols built on its network. Developed in collaboration with Asymmetric Research, the initiative provides a structured way to assess and monitor security across projects.

STRIDE evaluates protocols across eight key areas, including program security, governance, infrastructure, and incident response. Importantly, results will be made public, offering transparency for users and investors. This move aims to raise industry standards as DeFi continues to grow and face increasingly sophisticated threats.
