<p dir="auto">The team behind <a href="http://P2P.me" rel="nofollow ugc">P2P.me</a> revealed it placed bets on Polymarket about whether its own fundraising round would succeed. The positions were opened before the raise went live — at a time when funding was not guaranteed.</p>
<p dir="auto">Although the project ultimately raised $5.2 million (missing its $6M target), the team acknowledged that trading on outcomes they could influence raises serious concerns. They’ve since admitted the lack of disclosure was a mistake and are now liquidating positions and implementing stricter internal policies.</p>
