Bitcoin Smart Accounts are designed to link institutional custody with decentralized finance, allowing Bitcoin to be used in lending and yield strategies without being transferred or wrapped. This removes many of the risks that have historically limited institutional participation.

By enabling Bitcoin to function beyond just a store of value, these accounts could unlock large amounts of idle capital. The idea is to make Bitcoin more productive while keeping it secure within existing custody systems.
