Singapore-based fintech company MetaComp announced it has completed a new funding round backed by Alibaba as it expands its stablecoin payment infrastructure. The Pre-A+ round brings the company’s total funding to $35 million raised across two rounds in the past three months. The latest investment also included support from Spark Venture, with 100Summit Partners acting as the exclusive financial adviser.

The funding highlights growing investor interest in regulated stablecoin infrastructure for cross-border payments across Asia. MetaComp previously raised $22 million in December 2025 from investors such as Eastern Bell Capital, Noah, Sky9 Capital, Freshwave Fund and Beingboom Capital, signaling increasing momentum for blockchain-based financial settlement solutions.
