Privacy cryptocurrency Zcash (ZEC) saw renewed attention after the Zodl wallet ecosystem reported strong growth and fresh funding support. Data shows ZEC rose around 4% to about $217 following news that the wallet’s development team secured more than $25 million to continue building the platform and expanding its infrastructure.

Since October 2025, the open-source Zodl wallet has facilitated over $600 million in ZEC swaps, while the network’s shielded pool — the privacy mechanism that hides sender, receiver, and transaction amounts — has grown by more than 400% since 2024. The surge highlights increasing demand for privacy-preserving tools within crypto, even as the broader market experiences volatility.
