For example, Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, recently said there is “always an altcoin season,” suggesting that gains simply occur in different tokens at different times. Meanwhile, data from Santiment shows social media mentions of altcoins have dropped to their lowest level in two years, indicating many investors are currently focusing their attention back on Bitcoin.
