Apple is reportedly fast-tracking its AI-powered smart glasses, internally code-named N50, with production potentially beginning as early as December ahead of a projected 2027 public launch. The glasses are said to include a high-resolution camera and are described as more upscale and feature-rich than Apple’s other upcoming AI wearables.

The company faces strong competition in the smart glasses space from rivals like Meta — currently a leading player in the category — and Snap, which plans to release its “Specs” later this year.
