The native token of decentralized perpetuals platform Lighter, LIT, jumped nearly 10% following news of a major revenue-sharing deal with USDC issuer Circle.

The $920 million agreement covers USDC deposits on Lighter’s platform, with interest income shared between Circle and Lighter. The deal provides Lighter with a fast, capital-efficient path to grow its yield engine, fund user incentives, and support features like funding rate rebates and rewards programs.

Analysts expect the partnership to accelerate adoption, enhance liquidity, and improve sentiment for LIT holders, while giving Circle a foothold on a growing DeFi exchange.
