European tokenization operators aren’t calling for sweeping reform. They’re asking for a targeted technical update.

The group proposes modest changes to the EU’s DLT Pilot Regime: expanding eligible assets, raising current caps, and removing the six-year limit on pilot licenses. Investor protections would remain fully intact.

According to the companies, these adjustments could be implemented quickly—without reopening broader market-structure reforms—and would allow regulated onchain markets already live elsewhere to scale in Europe.
